WHAT IS EB-5?
The EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program is a U.S. government program that encourages new investment in job-creating projects. The EB-5 program was enacted by the United States congress in 1990 in an effort to encourage investments by foreigners in certain regions of the country, in order to create jobs in the USA. Through this program, foreign investors and their immediate family members have the opportunity to obtain residency status by investing in a business that creates at least 10 full- time jobs for US workers for a period of two years.
